Person hit by train between Woolwich Arsenal and Dartford

Emergency services are responding to a railway line after a person was hit by a train.

The incident occurred between Woolwich Arsenal and Dartford at around 1pm today.

There is currently no service between the two stations due to the incident.

At X, Southeastern said trains via Woolwich will be diverted via Bexleyheath or Sidcup.

It states that affected passengers can use their tickets at no extra cost on buses from London to Dartford, as well as DLR, Elizabeth Line and Thameslink services via “reasonable routes”.

There are currently no trains via Woolwich Arsenal whilst emergency services respond to the incident.

On the same platform, Southeastern added: “Unfortunately we have been informed that a person has been hit by a train between Woolwich Arsenal and Dartford.”
