Woman injured in dog attack in Hednesford garden

A woman suffered multiple injuries after being attacked by dogs in her own garden

The victim suffered injuries to his arms, legs and face during the incident on Market Street in Hednesford, Staffordshire, shortly after 1pm BST on Friday.

She was given first aid before being taken to hospital and a dog also injured in the attack was taken to a vet, Staffordshire Police said. Police said they believe the dog was attacked by other dogs at the location.

A 47-year-old man from Cannock was arrested on suspicion of possessing a dog dangerously out of control and possessing a prohibited dog. The dogs involved were protected.
