BBC Strictly’s Chris McCausland delivers a brutal blow to Craig Revel Horwood | TV and Radio | Showbiz and TV

Strictly Come Dancing viewers were shocked when contestant Chris McCausland made a scathing comeback at judge Craig Revel Horwood following his criticism of Chris’s performance tonight.

Chris and Dianne Buswell took to the dance floor with a moving waltz to You’ll Never Walk Alone that left the audience in tears.

Even Shirley Ballas could be seen fighting back tears as she tagged the pair, admitting she needed to compose herself after seeing blind comedian Chris perform a section of the dance completely alone.

However, Craig was quick to point out some technical flaws in the routine.

“I actually had a moment,” Craig began, “and then I thought about the technical aspects of it. His left elbow is too low. It lacked any kind of swing.”

Without missing a beat, Chris responded with a cheeky response that left the audience in shock.

“Craig, can I just say too, the beard doesn’t suit you, and even I know that. Just some friendly advice, darling!” Chris joked, referring to the judge’s new facial hair.

The live audience roared with laughter and even Craig took the hit, responding with a fun suggestion.

“You should play it, it’s very smooth,” he said, before continuing to analyze the waltz.

He added: “There was a lack of balance and balance. Your arm development needs some work all the way down to your hands, but you know there was a huge amount of beautiful ups and downs.

“It flowed beautifully. You covered so much. I couldn’t believe it. I thought it was brilliant.”

Several people watching Strictly at home took to social media to share their thoughts on the quick return.

One person exclaimed: “I love the Chris/Craig banter so much!!”

Another added: “I have wheezing!”
