Speaking to the Daily Mail on Sunday, those closest to Liam claimed he “would have survived” if an ambulance had been called sooner rather than later.

“’If someone had called an ambulance when he passed out in the hotel lobby, instead of taking him back to his room and leaving him there alone, in a psychotic state, he would still be with us.”

They further revealed that “Liam didn’t want to die” as he had promised never to commit suicide. The singer, according to them, was looking forward to a better future.

Liam Payne’s last meal was ‘chocolate chip cookies’

Before his death, Liam was “reworking” his favorite One Direction song “Fireproof” on his computer, they claimed, adding that he had undergone psychological and medical examinations days earlier, proving he was “squeaky clean.” arrived in Argentina to renew his visa for the USA.

Stating that he was in “good spirits,” they said he was preparing to return home to Miami to meet up with girlfriend Kate Cassidy on Friday.

They further revealed that their favorite dessert, chocolate chip cookies, was their last meal.

Investigation into Liam Payne’s death ongoing

At 5:04 pm on Wednesday, the 31-year-old musician died after falling 50 feet from the third-floor balcony of his hotel room into the courtyard below.

In his room, police discovered drugs, including “crystal,” a strong psychedelic that induces psychotic episodes and blackouts.

“Where did Liam get the drugs when he had no money?” the source asked.

According to multiple law enforcement sources, investigators think someone at the hotel gave him drugs. Reports that the hotel fired at least one employee after conducting an internal investigation have not been verified.

The investigation into Liam’s death “is ongoing”, investigators told the MoS last night, adding that charges against the drug suppliers “were imminent”.
