Two men taken to hospital and arrested after car crashes into house in Glasgow

Two men were taken to hospital and later arrested after a car crashed into a house in Glasgow.

Emergency services were called to an address in Crossloan Road, Govan, at around 3.35am on Sunday.

The property was later evacuated as a precaution.

Two occupants of the car, both men, left the scene but were located nearby and taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

They were then arrested in connection with the incident and released pending further investigations.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “At around 3.35am on Sunday 20th October 2024, we were called to a report that a car had crashed into a house in Crossloan Road, Govan.

“The two male occupants of the car left the scene.

“Emergency services attended and the men, both aged 41, were located nearby.

“They were taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow as a precaution.

“The property was evacuated as a precaution.

“The men were arrested in connection with the incident and released pending further investigation.”
