An Australian woman living in the UK has revealed the aspects of life in London that shocked her most.

Comedian Jenny Tian, ​​who was born in Finland but raised in Sydney, took to her YouTube channel under the name @nomnomjenny to post a clip that has garnered more than 238,000 views.

Introducing the video, she said: ‘Here are the strangest things you notice as an Australian living in London.’

Sharing the first aspect of London life that surprised her, she focused on wildlife, which she jokingly compared to “a Disney movie if it had stabbings”, thanks to the presence of animals such as foxes, squirrels and hedgehogs.

She then revealed her surprise at the wide range of supermarkets available to shoppers across the UK.

With an ironic comment about how this should promote healthy competition in the market to keep prices low, she joked: “What is the cost of living?”, in reference to the crisis that continues to make food bills skyrocket for the British throughout the United Kingdom.

Her third reveal was her hub in popular London shopping center Westfield, which has stores in the Shepherds Bush and Stratford areas of the city, as she was surprised to find it was ‘chic’.

Comparing it to the company’s reputation in Australia, she joked: ‘Westfield (in London is posh. (In Australia) is supposed to be the place where kids (skip) school and kiss in the car park. And respectable?

Finally, Jenny said she was also surprised by London’s “extremely narrow roads.”

She said: ‘There’s only one lane in each direction so there’s a lot of traffic building up.’
