Driver caught traveling 150 mph on Georgia interstate, police say

HOLLY SPRINGS, Georgia. – Holly Springs police are asking drivers to slow down after spotting a driver speeding on Interstate 575 last week.

Police shared one of their radar reports made by an on-duty officer on October 15.

According to police, they spotted a driver driving 150 miles per hour on the interstate near Sixes Road.

The speed limit is 70 kilometers per hour on this stretch.

“Speeding is dangerous. It puts lives in danger. Slow down, obey the speed limit and keep the roads safe,” the Holly Springs Police Department wrote on Facebook.

Authorities have not shared any details about the driver.
