Halloween candy: when to buy and what kids want

It’s time to think about getting your Halloween candy, and there’s a good time when you should buy it. According to a survey by the shopping app Ibotta a few holidays ago, the best deals come four days before Halloween.

And that’s important because chocolate prices have increased, but here’s the good news in the packaging: kids don’t want this sweet snack like their parents may have. They eat gummy snacks and fruity things. And the prices for these treats have dropped. So if you stock up on these, you can become the house of “good candy.”

E-commerce site Pattern looked at last year’s candy sales. And here are the most popular candies that kids like and how much their prices have dropped. Sweet corn accounts for 26% of the sweet tooth share and prices are down 11% compared to last year. If your little ones like this striped, old-fashioned candy, this is the best deal.

Bowling is in second place with a share of 13%, and here too prices have fallen by one percent. Jolly Ranchers comes close at 11% and is down 4% in costs. Now I would have thought that gummy bears would rank higher, but that’s not the case. Which could be good news for the wallet as prices per sample have increased by a whopping 30%. Starbursts are less popular at 5%, but the cost is reduced by 7%. You might want to consider this.

They definitely need some chocolate, and the favorites according to the survey were Tootsie Rolls, Reese’s and Twix.
