Jake Paul Offered MMA Fight to Longtime Rival After Confrontation with Mike Tyson

Jake Paul has received an offer to fight in his MMA debut against a long-time family rival after facing Mike Tyson in the boxing ring.

In January 2023, Jake Paul signed a contract with the PFL – Professional Fighters League – to make his MMA debut with them. This came off the back of the YouTuber-turned-boxer talking about fighting in the UFC and before his subsequent victory over Nate Diaz.

Fast forward a little and the ‘Problem Child’ has not yet debuted in the world of MMA. He is focused on boxing, especially Mike Tyson, initially agreeing to fight ‘Iron’ Mike in July. The original fight date had to be canceled because of Mike’s health issues, but they will fight in November.

This will be Jake’s last fight before focusing on his MMA debut in 2025, which will be against a “credible” opponent.

However, the ‘Problem Child’ was also given a chance by his brother’s longtime rival, Logan Paul, in the form of Dillon Danis.

“If the PFL wants to stay in business, the only option is me versus Jake Paul in MMA, as his brother is not a man of his word and is upset with our deal,” Danis said in a since-deleted tweet.

Dillon Danis Feature DQ

Despite claims that he “starched” Logan Paul, Danis lost the fight.

Danis also stated that: “The PFL will close soon, wasting a lot of money and no stars, with boring fights.” He also deleted the tweet shortly after posting it on October 19.

He is not the first person the Pauls have a long-standing rivalry with who has been suggested as Jake’s opponent. The YouTuber-turned-boxer had offers from Nate Diaz, Jorge Masvidal and Tommy Fury. They are unlikely to all happen, however.

It’s also unlikely that Danis will be considered as an opponent given the complicated process and history with Logan Paul.
