Shenandoah police search for driver in hit-and-run incident that injures young man

The Shenandoah Police Department is actively searching for the driver involved in a hit-and-run that left a young man injured on Sunday.

Authorities report the incident occurred in the 400 block of West Center Street, where a white SUV struck a young pedestrian. The minor suffered injuries to his leg and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The driver of the SUV did not stop after the incident and continued to drive away from the scene. They were able to obtain a photo of the suspect vehicle.

Police are asking anyone who may have information about the driver or vehicle involved, which has been pictured, to come forward.
