One hospitalized after incident near Las Misiones Boulevard and Larga Vista Drive

LAREDO, Texas (KGNS) – Laredo police provided an update on the case Monday, announcing that an arrest had been made. The suspect, 25-year-old Alejandro Carmona, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and probation violation.

One person was taken to the hospital after being stabbed Saturday night, according to Laredo police. Officers responded to the scene shortly after 7 p.m., near the intersection of Las Misiones Boulevard and Larga Vista Drive.

The victim was found with multiple lacerations but was in stable condition.

The individual was transported to the hospital for further treatment.
