Audi supports sustainable innovation here in Singapore

Have you seen some Audis on our roads with the letters “GTF” stamped on their sides? Don’t worry, they’re not part of some new marketing scam, nor are they an acronym for some slang term that kids are using now.

The cars are part of a fleet of 10 all-electric vehicles that includes the recently launched Audi Q4 e-tron. This fleet will transport guests and speakers from the Greentech Festival, here in Singapore, from 21 to 23 October 2024, and held at the Sofitel Singapore Sentosa.

Festival attendees will be able to experience the new Audi Q6 e-tron in a mixed reality experience through Apple Vision Pro

As a founding member of the festival, Audi’s continued support of the event is a reaffirmation of its commitment to the shared vision of a greener future. And your support for the event goes beyond simple logistics.

Event attendees will also be able to see the new all-electric Audi Q6 e-tron through a mixed reality experience at the festival ahead of its launch here in Singapore. This experience will allow participants to explore the wide range of technologies and features offered by the new vehicle which is not only built at Audi’s carbon-neutral factory in Ingolstadt, but also made from various recycled materials.

This virtual reality exhibition will take place alongside a series of talks, panel discussions, workshops and other interactive exhibitions. A total of 40 distinguished speakers, including Greentech Festival co-founders Marco Voigt and former Formula 1 driver Nico Rosberg will also speak at the event.

The kickoff was an awards dinner which featured Markus Schuster, General Manager of Audi Singapore, presenting the event’s award for the ‘Start-up’ category. Nominees for the category included companies such as SepPure, which has developed an energy-efficient solvent recovery system said to save up to 100 million tonnes of CO2 emissions in the USA only.

Also nominated for the category was Vflow Tech, a company specializing in vanadium redox flow batteries and operating a 200kW/1MWh battery system on Pulau Ubin, reducing the island’s diesel dependence by 100,000 liters annually and avoiding 268,000kg of CO2 emissions.
