James Carville makes bold election prediction: ‘I’m doubling my opinion’

“I think Harris will win,” Carville told MSNBC’s Ari Melber.

“Let me say this up front. I’m doubling down on that,” he added, although he admitted that “I could be wrong.”

Melber and Carville talked about the pattern of Trump saying extremist things, senior Republicans downplaying the comments and then Trump insisting that he actually means them.

“If he (Trump) wins, he’ll say, ‘I told people I would do this; “I have the legitimacy of an election behind me,” Carville said. “And you know what, he’ll be right.”
