Tennessee tends to land two big recruits

Tennessee is coming off a massive recruiting weekend that caught national media attention. Tennessee faced the Florida Gators on Saturday and defeated the Gators in overtime. The final score was 23-17.

The Vols have two big stories following the game, with nearly 100 recruits in attendance.

A visit is the best way to present a sales pitch to a recruit. It’s easy to exaggerate the facilities, atmosphere and other things through an online message, but seeing it in person is a different story. Each prospect will form an opinion about their biggest keys and how that specific school fares with those priorities. After the visits is when you start to get a feel for the prospect’s position in relation to the school.

Tennessee is trending for two talented recruits after the Tennessee-Florida game. One of the recruits wasn’t even on campus for the game.

The first recruit is 2025 Isaiah Campbell. Campbell. Campbell is a four-star defensive line recruit who was previously signed by the Clemson Tigers before decommitting. Tennessee recruited the talented seven defensive lineman while he was committed. The Vols were one of two legitimate options for the talented recruit, as the other would be the North Carolina Tar Heels. Many predicted that Tennessee would only have one visit with the talented recruit before he chose a school and the Vols hope he will be on campus for his first visit to Tennessee when the Crimson Tide comes to town. Tennessee appears to be a big leader in recruiting Campbell as he is now under surveillance. Tennessee will likely end up in the Class of 2025 if or once they land the talented star from North Carolina’s Southern High School.

The second and final highlighted recruit is from the class of 2026. The Vols currently have two commits from this class. Those commits are the nation’s No. 1 player, Faizon Brandon at QB and Carson Sneed, who is a four-star tight end. Many predict that the class of 2026 will be much better than the class of 2025. Today’s featured recruit is Tristen TK Keys. Keys is expected to be a five-star in the future, but is currently a four-star wide receiver out of Hattiesburg High School in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Keys has offers and interest from many top schools, including Alabama, Notre Dame, Tennessee and many others. The Vols are the clear leaders of the Keys at this point after the visit. It’s unknown when he will commit to the school, but if he pulled the trigger today, the choice would likely be Tennessee. Tennessee has highlighted many wide receivers from this class and Keys is the likely No. 1 target on the board.
