Warner is open to recalling the shock Test to face India if voters ask for it

And with the likes of Marcus Harris, Matthew Renshaw and Cameron Bancroft struggling for runs in the early stages of Australia’s domestic Sheffield Shield competition, Warner has revealed he will consider a stunning return if selectors see fit.

“I’m always available, I just have to pick up the phone,” Warner told the Australian media organization News Corp.

“I am always absolutely serious. Let’s be honest, the boys have played a red-ball game (first round of the Sheffield Shield) since their last friendlies in February, so I’ve had almost the same preparation.”
