Safaricom Announces 1-Month Internet Package Offer for All Customers

Safaricom business fiber internet subscribers will now pay 25% less on their monthly subscription.

This followed the celebration of the 24th anniversary of the leading telecommunications company.

How much will Safaricom’s business fiber customers pay?

The leading internet service provider has reduced 50Mbps home fiber package rates from KSh 5,000 to KSh 3,750.

Speaking exclusively to TUKO.co.kethe telco said the one-month offer will be available to all customers in buildings already connected to fiber.

“The Business Fiber 50Mbps package price offer will be applied to all customers where the building is fiber ready. It will be available for the first month, keeping your business connected,” said Safaricom.

How to Get Safaricom Business Fiber Offer

Safaricom’s 50Mbps business fiber packages can be accessed by dialing USSD code *485#.

The package is a perfect starter plan for small teams of 1 to 15 employees. It comes with a free router and free installation fees.

Other business plan packages include 15 Mbps, which serves 1 to 5 employees, and 100 Mbps, which serves 1 to 50 employees.

Changes to the Safaricom internet package

In September 2024, Safaricom PLC announced changes to its internet packages, increasing speeds to enhance the user experience.

Safaricom has increased its lowest bronze package from 10 Mbps to 15 Mbps for KSh 2,999, introducing a new speed package of up to 1,000 Mbps for KSh 20,000.

The company announced a new home fiber package in October to accommodate customers with budgets as low as KSh 1,500.

The telco said the offer is open to all customers, and they can check availability by dialing *400#.
