Police search for man who kicked dog in the head, causing brain damage and then abandoned it

Police say the shocking incident happened in Leominster sometime in September when a man was seen walking a dog in the High Street. The man got stuck in the lead and fell to the ground.

He then began kicking the dog in the head before being pulled away by a member of the public. The man left the area without the dog.

The dog suffered brain damage and is now in the care of a rescue center.

Officers are aware of a group of girls who witnessed the attack and are appealing for them to contact police. They were not involved in the incident, but may have information that could help.
