Two Bugattis crashed in the stupidest way possible and a poor dump truck paid the price

Bugatti’s spare parts department is about to receive a large order. Two Chiron hypercars suffered damage after colliding with each other while trying to overtake a truck during a rally held in Morocco, and footage of the incident posted on YouTube shows exactly what happened.

The accident occurred during the Morocco Grand Tour 2024, according to Road and trackwhich is an event organized by Bugatti in which 15 customers participate. It’s not a timed race; It’s another trip. The short video shows a convoy of three Chirons passing a bus and returning to its lane behind a dump truck. When the second car in line starts to overtake the truck, the first one moves to pass too and the two collide.

From then on, it’s total chaos. One Chiron spins, hits the truck and ends up in a ditch, while the other stops in the opposite lane. The truck is forced off the road and rolls. There is no word on whether anyone was injured during the incident and we hope everyone was unharmed.

Local media outlet Tanjaoui writes that the accident happened between Tangier and Tetouan, in the northern part of Morocco. His photos show that the Swiss-registered Chiron that left the road suffered serious front-end damage, while the truck it hit had a broken cabin.

The lesson? Always check your blind spot, even if you think no one is in it.
