Kyle Sandilands’ Very Surprising Take on Lidia Thorpe’s King Charles Outburst

Kyle Sandilands shocked listeners on Thursday morning when he revealed his surprising take on Senator Lidia Thorpe’s recent outburst at King Charles.

The radio king, 53, was discussing the incident in which the indigenous activist shouted ‘fuck the colony’ and ‘you’re not my king’ at Parliament House in Canberra on Monday.

The presenter, who developed a reputation for his conservative views, revealed that he actually supported Thorpe’s actions.

“That Senator Thorpe rebuked the king. What you need to understand is that you may not agree with her attitude towards royalty – Kyle began.

“But she is fighting for her people. At least we know there’s some shit going on, you know what I mean?

Meanwhile, co-host Jackie O Henderson, 49, quickly agreed with Kyle’s points.

Senator Thorpe’s outburst in Parliament on Monday was preceded by a bizarre altercation with police hours earlier.

When a small group of protesters outside the Australian War Memorial were told by police to move on, Ms Thorpe was seen arguing with a police officer who was holding her shirt.

She then took off her shirt and walked away from the officer.

“Everything we suffered in this country is because of that colonial invasion,” she said after the fight.

Thorpe, who was elected Greens senator for Victoria before leaving the party and becoming an independent, has often spoken openly about her feelings towards the monarchy.

‘Give us what you stole from us! Our bones, our skulls, our people, you have destroyed our land,” Senator Thorpe shouted at the Monarch this week.
