Home Start’s Hallo-Wine Fall Festival helps fight child abuse – San Diego Union-Tribune

Home Start, a nonprofit child abuse prevention and treatment agency, presented its 17th Annual Hallo-Wine Fall Festival on Oct. 19 on a private property overlooking the ocean in Point Loma.

Dozens of local vendors offered samples of food, wine, craft beer and spirits, accompanied by live entertainment, a silent auction and other activities.

The festival is held every October in recognition of National Domestic Violence Awareness Month and raises funds for Home Start’s programs to help children and families.
