Taco Bell’s Nostalgic ‘Decades Menu’ Launches October 31 – Daily News

Taco Bell wants you to enjoy a Meximelt or a tostada before loading up on Halloween candy on Thursday, October 31st.

The Irvine-based chain will launch a limited-time “Decades Menu” on that date.

The budget-friendly menu, which the Irvine-based chain tested in its hometown in August, brings back five items from previous years.

The first is the tostada, one of Taco Bell’s first six menu items when it opened in 1962 but discontinued in 2020. It will cost about $2.19. Prices vary depending on location.

Representing the 1970s is the Burrito with Green Sauce, available for $2.49.

The Meximelt, from the 1980s, is a flour tortilla filled with beef, three cheeses and pico de gallo. It will cost $2.99.

The ’90s item is a Gordita Supreme, available for $2.99.

A fifth menu item, Caramel Apple Empanada, won’t be available until November 21, closer to Thanksgiving. It will sell for $2.99.

A $7 Luxe Cravings Box will include a Beef Gordita Supreme with a Beefy 5-Layer Burrito, Double Stacked Taco, fries and nacho cheese sauce, and a medium drink.

The promotion includes collectible cups and straight merchandise, which will be included in the Tuesday Drop on October 29th. Tuesday Drops take place at 2pm and give app users with quick fingers and fast Wi-Fi the chance to get “exclusive offers and experiences.”
