Woman accused of being cruel to children, including telling girl her mother was dead

A WOMAN accused of being ‘cruel’ to four children over a 10-year period has had a warrant issued for her arrest.

It is claimed Yvonne Keenan, 55, caused unnecessary suffering at properties in north Glasgow.

The first charge states that Keenan was “cruel” and “unnaturally treated” a girl between the ages of eight and 17.

It is alleged that Keenan hit her body, grabbed her by the body, shook her and pushed her onto the bed.

The indictment says Keenan hit her in the face and yelled at her.

The allegations further state that she forced the girl to perform household chores satisfactorily.

The girl was also allegedly forced into a relationship, which caused damage to her health.

A second child aged between eight and 14 was reportedly yelled at by Keenan, who allegedly made derogatory comments.

She allegedly hit the boy’s chest repeatedly with her finger and repeatedly threatened to stop him from seeing his mother.

The boy was further stated to have repeatedly gone without food.

A third charge states that Keenan committed a similar crime against a girl between the ages of four and nine.

She allegedly refused to allow her to sit on the furniture and forced her to sit on the floor.

The indictment claims Keenan locked her in a room, tried to force-feed her and cut her hair.

The allegations further state that Keenan forced the girl to stand in the corner facing the wall for hours and dragged her by her hair.

It is alleged that Keenan placed his hand over the girl’s mouth and restricted her breathing, which forced her to lose consciousness.

The girl was also allegedly pulled by her ankles and then pulled from a bed, which resulted in her head hitting a radiator.

It is alleged that Keenan repeatedly hit her body with a slipper due to the injury.

The indictment goes on to say that Keenan repeatedly told the girl that her mother was dead when that was not true.

The allegations state that the girl was told to wear inappropriate clothing and that the clothes were ripped from her body.

The girl was also stated not to have been fed and forced to stay outside for prolonged periods.

A photo of the girl was also allegedly taken by Keenan, which was allegedly done to humiliate her in front of other children.

It is stated that this accusation represented a danger to the girl’s life.

A final indictment alleges that a boy between the ages of two and five was also refused to sit on furniture and forced to sit on the floor.

The indictment claims he was locked in a room and forced to face a wall for hours.

He would still have been locked in a bathroom.

A photograph of the boy was also taken, which was done to humiliate him in front of other children.

It is further claimed that Keenan made the boy eat cat food.

The four charges span between September 1994 and September 2004.

Neither Keenan nor his lawyer attended a hearing into the matter at Glasgow Sheriff Court.

A warrant for the arrest of Keenan, of the town’s Possilpark, was granted by Sheriff Iain Fleming.
