‘Naked And Afraid’ star Sarah Danser dies at the age of 34

“Naked and scared” reality star Sarah Danser died after a car accident in Honolulu, Hawaii, Hawaii News Now Reported Wednesday. She was 34.

Dancer, who first appeared on the Discovery Channel survival competition franchise in 2017, was a passenger in a car whose driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a parked car Sunday evening, the local news channel reported.

The reality TV star was taken to a hospital in critical condition and died on Tuesday. The condition of the driver and one of the two occupants of the parked car was serious.

Honolulu police said speed appeared to be a factor in the crash, but not drugs or alcohol, according to Hawaii News Now.

After first appearing in Season 8 of ‘Naked and Afraid’ in 2017, Danser returned the following year for ‘Naked and Afraid XL’ and has made several appearances in the TV franchise through 2021. according to the site IMDb.

Last year she appeared in the first season of the competition show ‘Fight To Survive’.

Representatives from The CW, which airs ‘Fight To Survive’, and Warner Bros. Discovery, which owns the Discovery Channel, did not immediately return requests for comment.

A native of Colorado, Danser had lived in Hawaii for more than a decade, according to Hawaii News Now.

She documented her life in Hawaii on her Instagram page. In November she has shared a photo of herself, all smiles, driving a boat with the caption “Every day is Boat Day!”

The reality TV star shared in October 2020 that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer earlier that year.

“Women don’t usually get a breast exam until they’re 40 – I was 29,” she says. wrote at the time. “If I had not been aware of my own body, it would have taken 11 years for the cancer to be discovered, and by then it would have been too late.”

Island Divers Hawaii – a diving company that employed Danser, according to Hawaii News Now – paidtribute to her Thursday on social media.

“It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to a good friend and great captain,” the company wrote. “Sarah brought so much energy to everyone she came into contact with. You will be greatly missed.”

Dancer’s brother described her as “magical” during an interview with Hawaii News Now.

“Sarah had a positive energy about her that really filled the environment she was in,” Jake Danser told the outlet.
