Emily's first warning forecast: Have a nice weekend, windy and warm on Monday

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Calm winds and clear skies will cool things off quickly this Friday evening!

Saturday morning will be chilly with low to mid 30s expected… a freeze N of and in the Metro, a frost in the S.

Saturday will be pleasant once we warm up. Plan for lots of sun and a warm-up into the low to mid 60s… 63 for Omaha.

Sunday will be a little breezier and warmer…plan for a climb back into the 70s with wind gusts of 20 to 25 mph.

We continue to warm up again as the wind increases! If you need to rake leaves, do so before early next week.

Monday and Tuesday will be 6 First Alert weather days thanks to dry, warm and windy conditions. A major fire danger is expected with wind gusts of up to 80 kilometers per hour.
