Soldier dead, nine injured after army vehicle skids off road in JK’s Kulgam – India TV

In a tragic incident, an army soldier lost his life while nine others were injured after their army vehicle skidded off the road and overturned in Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir, officials said on Saturday.

Shortly after the accident, the injured were taken to a hospital, the official added. The official further added that the condition was said to be stable.

Providing details of the accident, the Srinagar-based 15 Corps of the Army, also known as the Chinar Corps, said the accident occurred on Friday evening in DH Pora area of ​​Kulgam during an operational movement.

The Chinese Corps said: “Tragically, one sepoy lost his life, while few soldiers sustained injuries who were immediately evacuated for medical care. All soldiers are stable.”
