This is how much a momo seller makes in a day: Influencer reveals details that shocked netizens

In a curious exploration of the street food industry, popular influencer Sarthak Sachdeva delved into the world of momo selling to reveal the surprising earnings of a local stall. His findings have since captured the attention of millions on social media, with an Instagram video showing his day at the bustling momo stall racking up more than 23 million views.

Dressed in full vendor attire, Sachdeva blended seamlessly into the lively atmosphere as he set up the stall and assisted in the operations. Known for his engaging content on YouTube, where he has over 1.47 million subscribers, Sachdeva first familiarized himself with the art of momo preparation before diving into the fast-paced environment of foodservice.

The momo stall, which offered steamed momos for Rs 60 and tandoori momos for Rs 80, proved to be a hit. Within the first 90 minutes, the team sold around 55 plates, and by the evening, demand increased with a total of around 121 plates of steamed momos and between 60 and 70 plates of tandoori momos sold in just four hours.

Sachdeva’s breakdown of daily earnings was impressive, totaling Rs 13,500. His curiosity piqued, he engaged the stall owner for a deeper look into the financials, which revealed operational costs between Rs 6,000 and Rs 7,000. After deductions, the net profit for the day was between Rs 7,500 and Rs 8,000.

Extrapolating these figures, Sachdeva estimated the stall’s potential monthly income at around Rs 2.4 lakh, which works out to almost Rs 30 lakh per year, a revelation that sparked a lively discussion on social media platforms.

The response from viewers was overwhelming and the comments section was flooded with surprised reactions. “He insulted my degree in every way possible,” one user commented, while another expressed his frustration, saying, “So all my education is going to waste.”

A third user humorously commented, “Bhai soch raha hoon ek hi stall mein chai vada pav aur momos teeno rakhlun phir paisa hi paisa hoga.” (I think I will also open a tea stall, vada pao and momos. I will keep all three, and there will be money showers.)
