India hands over the body of a Bangladeshi man

Indian police today (October 26) handed over the body of a Bangladeshi citizen, who died in the neighboring country’s territory, to Bangladesh police.

The deceased Bangladeshi was identified as Md Rizaul Karim, son of Abdus Sattar of Alinapara village in Sherpur Sadar upazila of Sherpur district, Sherpur Sadar police confirmed.

Rezaul’s body was handed over to the Bangladesh Police at 1pm today in the presence of members of the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and the Border Security Force (BSF) through the Netrokona District Police through the Bagmara LC of the 200 BSF Battalion opposite the Bijoypur. A BGB press release said that, citing BSF sources, seven Bangladeshi nationals entered India about 100 to 150 meters from the barbed wire near the border pillar 1138/4-S in Digalbagh area of ​​Dhobaura upazila of Mymensingh, under the jurisdiction of the Munshipara. BOP under the Netrokona Battalion (31 BGB) on the evening of October 24.

At that time, when BSF members patrolling the Damdama camp of 181 BSF Battalion challenged them, six of them managed to escape but one fell from a culvert there, suffered head injuries, became unconscious and drowned in the water of the diver. release said.

BSF members immediately rescued him and admitted him to the local primary health center where he died on October 24, the report said.

The autopsy of the deceased was completed in India.
