Tragic attack in southeastern Iran: a day of mourning

Ten members of Iran’s national police were killed in an attack in the southeast of the country on Saturday, according to local media.

The incident took place in Gohar Kuh, 1,200 kilometers from Tehran, and made national headlines as authorities struggled to reveal the facts surrounding this tragic attack.

The state-run IRNA agency called the attackers “miscreants,” with no immediate suspects or claims of responsibility, amid heightened tensions following an attack by Israel on the same day.
