President Ruto has urged leaders to unite and avoid divisive politics

President William Ruto has called on leaders to ensure the unity of Kenyans while calling on them to shun divisive politics.

Speaking at a church service at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Moiben, Uasin Gishu County, the Head of State said leaders must always remember that they were elected to look after the interests of Kenyans.

Ruto urged Kenyans to continue registering with the Social Health Authority (SHA), noting that the government, in collaboration with Parliament, will ensure that the transitional challenges faced by Kenyans under the Social Health Insurance Fund ( SHIF) are encountered, are solved.

Member of Parliament Peter Kaluma from the city of Homa Bay, who was present, emphasized that Azimio is part of the broader government and has no plans to leave anytime soon.

Lawmakers from the North Rift region led by Kesses MP Julius Ruto and Prof. Phyllis Bartoo of Moiben asked the President to intervene and ensure that maize prices are increased.
