Jani Master reunites with family after bail: truth will prevail

Choreographer Jani Master recently shared an emotional video of his reunion with family after being granted interim bail. Jani Master was arrested on September 19 for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman, who was a minor at the time of the incident. The choreographer has now shared a video with his family and said that ‘the truth will prevail’.

“A lot is taken from us in these 37 days. The prayers of my family and well-wishers have brought me here today. The truth is often overshadowed, but never extinguished; one day she will gain the upper hand. This phase of life that my entire family has gone through will forever pierce my heart (sic),” read the full caption.

Jani Master was granted bail by the Telangana High Court on October 24. He later shared a video of himself hugging his wife and their children.

The clip was set to the tune of the Animal song ‘Papa Meri Jaan’. The netizens were not amused when someone wrote: “Of course your family will be in pain, but at the end of the day you are an accused. Besides trolls and all, you didn’t go to jail by joining social services, you went to jail for accusations of rape and harassment of women, but you act like a social worker.”

“Justice will be served soon and I hope you didn’t make a mistake!! (sic),” read another comment.

After the allegations against Jani Master came to light, his National Award for Best Choreographer was promptly revoked.
