Woman and dog found dead in Kalamazoo County, suspect arrested

KALAMAZOO COUNTY, MI – A woman’s body was found late Saturday and Kalamazoo County sheriff’s deputies are investigating her death as a homicide.

Officers say a suspect has been arrested in connection with her death and there is no threat to the public.

Officers found the dead woman after being dispatched to the 100 block of N. Main St. in the Village of Climax on Saturday, Oct. 26, around 10 p.m., according to the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office.

Officers also found a dead dog there.

Officers arrested a suspect at the scene and booked him into the Kalamazoo County Jail pending criminal charges.

No further details about the woman or the suspect were released by police.
