Bloomington man shot and killed in Urbana

URBANA, Ill. (WICS) — A Bloomington man was killed after a shooting in Urbana on Saturday morning.

At 3:50 a.m., Urbana police officers were dispatched to a home in the 1100 block of Fairview in Northwest Urbana for a report of a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers found Ramon T. Clark, 44, who had been shot. The officers immediately rendered aid to Clark and called an ambulance.

Clark was taken to a local hospital for treatment. He eventually succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.

UPD detectives executed a search warrant and processed the scene for evidence with the assistance of the Illinois State Police Crime Scene Services.

Police say no arrests have been made at this time.
