The ruling comes after the lawyers of the ‘I’ll Be Missing You’ rapper accused the FBI of leaking security footage from him abuse of ex-girlfriend Casandra “Cassie” Ventura rather to the press.

Documents obtained by Page Six revealed that Combs’ team claimed earlier this month that government agents gave the video to CNN in May in an effort to “deadly destroy Sean Combs’ reputation and the prospect of successfully defending himself against these charges.” harm.”

“Instead of using the videotape as evidence in the trial, alongside other evidence that gives context to it
meaning that the officers misused it in the most prejudicial and damaging manner,” the documents say.

The gruesome video showed the Bad Boy Records founder kicking, pulling and dragging Ventura dated from 2007 to 2018, at the InterContinental Hotel in Century City, California, in 2016.

However, the FBI denied that the clip was leaked, telling the judge in a letter: “The government was not in possession of the video before it was published by CNN.

“Thus, there is no colorable factual basis for defendant’s claim that the government leaked the video to CNN, let alone that it was leaked ‘in violation of grand jury secrecy,’” the letter continued.
