Morris man injured in Sunday crash – SteinbachOnline.com

A Morris man was transported to the hospital after a single car rollover Sunday afternoon.

According to RCMP, members of the Pembina Valley detachment received a report at 4:19 p.m., reporting the motor vehicle collision along Highway 23 near Myrtle.

The driver, a 36-year-old man from Morris, was the sole occupant of the vehicle. Police say he was driving west when he oversteered and eventually rolled the vehicle into the ditch.

He was wearing a seat belt.

Police say he was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

RCMP issued the man a ticket for driving without a valid license plate.

The Roland Fire Department also responded to the call.
