20th Annual Siouxland Sleepout Silent Auction Now Open

SIOUX CITY (KTIV) – There are four sleeps left until the community is invited to sleep under the stars to end homelessness.

The Siouxland Sleepout is celebrating 20 years this Friday, November 1, but you can participate early by placing your bids for the silent auction before the sleepout.

It opened Monday, Oct. 28 at 8 a.m. and all money raised will benefit five Siouxland agencies that help alleviate homelessness.

“There aren’t many community fundraisers that have as many programs that work together like this one and really unite to bring attention to homelessness in our community and to raise money for the programs we all run to increase homelessness,” said Jean Logan, executive director of the Community Action Agency of Siouxland.
