Monson School Superintendent Announces Retirement

MONSON, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) – Monson Superintendent Cherly Clarke has announced her retirement at the end of this school year.

At a school committee meeting last week, Clarke said she would retire in June.

“It has been an honor to serve the students, staff and families of Monson Public Schools for 20 years,” said Superintendent Clarke. “I am proud of the work I have done in the twelve years I have led.”

In early 2024, both the principal and assistant principal of Monson High School resigned.
