LPD releases name of pedestrian killed after fatal accident with garbage truck

LAWTON, Okla. (KSWO) – The Lawton Police Department (LPD) has released the name of the person who died after a fatal collision with a private garbage vehicle.

Jessica Lynn Ellsworth, 29, was the person killed in the Oct. 24 crash, according to LPD.

The investigation into the fatal collision is ongoing and authorities will report their findings to the district attorney’s office once it is completed.

The public prosecutor will then decide whether to file a report.
