THROUGH THE MORNING:

Mostly clear with some fog in the morning. The low will be around 60.

TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY:

Tomorrow and Wednesday it will be partly cloudy, windy and warmer. High temperatures will be in the low 80s through Wednesday. More moisture will gradually spread north into the Midstate as well.

Low temperatures will be more warning in the coming days than they have been in the 60s the past few days.

There is the smallest chance of a passing drizzle or rain shower on Wednesday: 20%.

HALLOWEEN:

Thursday starts partly sunny. Clouds gather during the afternoon. Showers will reach the Tennessee River around lunchtime. Rain arrives in the greater Nashville area around dinner time. Their eastward progress may prove slow through the evening, so there is a reasonable chance that communities along and just west of the Cumberland Plateau will remain dry for trick-or-treating. Since it’s still a few days away, check us on WSMV4 for updates.

Temperatures will remain mild on Thursday. Low, 66. High, 79. Trick-or-treat temperatures will start in the low 70s and drop to the mid 60s through the evening.

Rain will continue to move eastward through the Midstate Thursday night, eventually bringing some much-needed wet weather to all areas.

FRIDAY:

Rain will start Friday, leaving partly sunny skies with highs in the low 70s.

THIS WEEKEND:

Saturday and Sunday look beautiful with a mix of clouds and sunshine. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70s, with lows in the 40s and 50s.

NEXT WEEK:

A few showers return Monday (mainly northwest Middle Tennessee and southwest Kentucky), otherwise it will be partly sunny with highs in the upper 70s.
