Suspect flees deadly shooting after fight in West Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A suspect fled a deadly shooting after a fight in west Las Vegas, Metro police say.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said a shooting happened at 4:44 a.m. Sunday in the 6200 block of Brandywine Way. This is near Jones Boulevard and Alta Drive.

When officers arrived, they found a man with gunshot wounds in a driveway.

Medical services arrived and said the man died at the scene.

Metro homicide detectives say the victim and suspect were arguing when the shooting occurred.

Police say the suspect fled the area before officers could arrive.

“This is an ongoing investigation,” police said. “The identification of the victim, as well as the cause and manner of death, will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.”
