TNPSC Group 4 Selection Procedure 2024

The candidates who cleared the written exam will get the certificate verification on the screen. After verification, the eligible candidates will be admitted for physical certificate verification. The list of candidates eligible for on-screen certificate verification will be announced based on their written examination results, subject to the rule of appointment reservation. After verification, eligible candidates will be admitted for physical certificate verification.

The Commission website will provide a list of candidates called for physical certificate verification sorted by registration number. For the above posts, the candidates who have passed the Government Technical Typewriting Examination in Higher/Senior Grade in Tamil and English will be selected first.

The second priority will be given to candidates who have passed the Government Technical Typewriting Examination in Higher/Senior Grade in Tamil and Lower/Junior Grade in English.

The third priority will be given to candidates who have passed the state technical examination in typing at the higher/senior grade in English and the lower/junior grade in Tamil.

For posts of forester, forester with driver’s license, forester and forester (tribal youth)

For the above posts, a separate list of eligible candidates will be announced for on-screen certificate verification based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the written examination and subject to the rule of reservation of appointments.

After the fencing certificate is issued, the candidates are admitted to the endurance test in a ratio of 1:3. These candidates will undergo a verification of physical standards and an endurance test consisting of a 25 km and 16 km walk to be completed in four hours by male and female/third gender candidates respectively, which will be administered by the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests. The endurance test is conducted exclusively in Chennai.
