Obama sets fire to ‘racist sexist bigot’ Trump MSG rally

Former President Barack Obama lashed out at the former president Donald Trump about jokes about Puerto Ricans told at Trump’s rally at Madison Square Garden.

Trump gets a lot of attention for the antics at his Madison Square Garden collectionwhat his critics are compared Unpleasant an infamous one 1939 American Nazi rally before it even started.

Particularly comedian Tony Hinchcliffe’s The joke that Puerto Rico is a “floating island of trash” was essentially repeated by cable news after the meeting — so much so that the Trump campaign tried to distance himself itself from the comment.

At one collection On Monday in Philadelphia, Obama attacked Trump for the comments:

Donald Trump wants us to think that this country is hopelessly divided between us and them – between the, quote, “real Americans” who of course support him, and the outsiders who don’t – ‘the enemies within.’ Because what did I say about cheering? To vote. Because Donald Trump understands – and he is not wrong – that dividing people, making people angry, will increase his chances of getting elected. It is not good for the country, but it can improve its chances.

We saw it last night… The guy holds a big rally at Madison Square Garden, and the warm-up speakers said the most, trotted out and spouted the most racist, sexist, bigoted stereotypes. A man named Puerto Rico quotes “an island full of trash.” These are fellow citizens he is talking about. Here in Philadelphia they are your neighbors. They’re your friends, they’re your colleagues. Their children go to school with your children. These are Americans, they are people.

And that’s why this election shouldn’t be close. It must be clear. Here’s a good rule: If someone doesn’t respect you, if someone doesn’t see you as fellow citizens with equal claims to opportunity, to the pursuit of happiness, to the American Dream, you shouldn’t vote for them. You shouldn’t expect them to make your life better. They won’t help you pay the… they won’t help you pay the bills. They are not going to work hard, make sure your child gets a good education. They’re not going to help you with a down payment on a house.

I mean, we must reject the kind of politics of division and hatred that we saw represented. America is ready to turn the page. America is ready for a better story. Philadelphia, we are ready for a President Kamala Harris.
