Harris makes a return visit to Georgia in the final days of the campaign

ATLANTA, Ga. — On the final weekend of the historic 2024 presidential campaign, Vice President Kamala Harris returns to Atlanta to hold one final rally in the state that could decide who will occupy the Oval Office for the next four years.

The Harris-Walz campaign has confirmed the rally will take place Saturday. No further details have been released.

Harris’ return to Atlanta comes after former President Donald Trump held a rally on the Georgia Tech campus Monday evening.

Georgia is a major battleground state. Both candidates have weaved through the Peach State and made several stops, including at the CSRA.

Trump and his supporters hope to avoid a repeat of 2020, when the election in Georgia was decided by just 12,000 votes.

Harris, seeking to become the first woman ever elected to the White House, brought another historical trailblazer to Atlanta last week. Former President Barack Obama appeared with Harris at a campaign rally in DeKalb County, a day after Trump held an event at the Gas South Arena in Duluth.
