Man declared dead after being hit in Ogden car wash parking lot

OGDEN, Utah (KUTV) — A man was pronounced dead after he was struck by a car in the parking lot of an Ogden car wash.

Ogden police said the 63-year-old man was cleaning a parking lot at a nearby car wash at 7th and Washington Blvd. Wednesday.

The man was hit by a car and was later pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The car that hit the man fled before police arrived, police said.

The incident is under investigation.
