A collision between two trucks, one of which police say was stolen, closed part of First Avenue South in Fort Dodge Wednesday afternoon. Police Chief Dennis Quinn said the Ram flatbed in the foreground was stolen shortly before the crash. He said it collided with an eastbound GMC pickup, but no one was injured. The driver of the Ram was arrested after a short foot chase. The crash occurred around 3:15 p.m. The incident remained under investigation Wednesday evening by Fort Dodge police. First Avenue South between 19th Street and the Albert Habhab Veterans Memorial Bridge was closed to traffic while police and firefighters worked on the scene.
