A major update has been released by the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) for teachers who have cleared the Sakshamta Pariksha 2024 Phase 2 (Local Body Teachers Competency Test). According to News18 Hindi, this update is crucial for teachers who sought counseling after passing the competency exam, but the department declined to provide it as their documentation was considered questionable.

These teachers now have the opportunity to correct their certifications, thanks to the education department. In addition, the department has published two separate dates for candidates to update their certificates.

It is important to know that it is possible to correct minor errors in the detailed input until Monday, November 4. Those who have multiple questionable documents have till November 11 to correct them, Hindi News18 further said. In this regard, District Education Officer (DEO) Yogesh Kumar has also written a letter as per guidelines of the department.

Furthermore, reports indicate that some teacher candidates had their name, date of birth, gender and UID number found to be incorrect or incorrectly entered during biometric verification for counseling purposes. As a result, it was impossible to verify their document. Therefore, the application for change of details will be filled by these candidates and sent to the DEO office by November 4. After that, other consultancy work will begin.

Meanwhile, the application format has also been made public in the guidelines issued by District Education Officer (DEO) Yogesh Kumar. Moreover, those who have several questionable documents have been given a chance. These applicants have until November 11 to upload the correct certificate on the website with their login details. “This is the last chance for correction,” the DEO said, according to News18 Hindi.

Based on the rectification request received, the establishment’s Data Protection Officer (DPO) will update the website with the correct information. The mobile number and Aadhaar number will remain unchanged. Teachers who wish to request a change will have to go through the biometric process again. Teachers who have passed the competency test will have their documents verified at the DRCC in Basdila. There are reports that more than 700 teacher documents have been found suspicious.
