Asheville hosts Halloween Block Party to boost local business recovery

As businesses try to get back on their feet after Helene, the Asheville Downtown Association is hosting a Halloween Block Party on October 31st.

Organizers said they are hopeful the turnout will help inform the public that some of their favorite breweries, shops and restaurants have reopened.

The party starts at 4:00 PM and lasts until 7:00 PM, with various activities for children, including a dog costume contest, live music and trick-or-treating.
