Deadline to apply for FEMA assistance in Wood County is this weekend

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) – The last day to apply for assistance due to the April storms is approaching.

Wood County residents have until Saturday, Nov. 2 to apply for FEMA assistance for damage caused during the April 11-12 storms, floods and landslides.

FEMA assistance for individuals and families affected by the floods can cover home repairs, loss of personal property, and other disaster-related needs not covered by insurance.

To apply for FEMA assistance online at disasterrelief.govor by phone at 800-621-3362.

Saturday is also the final deadline to apply for a disaster loan from the U.S. Small Business Administration.

Applicants can apply online at sba.gov/disastercall the SBA Customer Service Center at (800) 659-2955, or email [email protected] for more information about SBA disaster assistance.
