Daughter arrested after mother was fatally stabbed

MIDTOWN, Ohio (WDT) – A Middletown woman has been charged with murder after her mother was stabbed to death.

The Middletown Police Department Dispatch officers were dispatched to the 600 block of 14th Avenue just before midnight on October 30 for reports of a stabbing.

Upon arrival, officers found a female victim, identified as 72-year-old Minnie Lewis, inside the home with multiple stab wounds. She was transported to a local hospital, where she later died.

Police have identified the suspect as 44-year-old Mekeshia Lattimore, the victim’s daughter.

Lattimore was taken into custody and charged with murder.
