GTA 6 fans are confident they know when the next trailer is coming

Grand Theft Auto fans are confident they’ll know when Rockstar Games will unveil the second trailer for GTA 6, and it could be sooner than some think.

In December 2023, Grand Theft Auto fans finally got what they wanted from Rockstar when they unveiled the first one GTA6 trailer. Many fans were hoping that this would deliver a sample of GTA 6 reveals, but that wasn’t the case.

Since the reveal of the first trailer, Rockstar and Take-Two have been quiet. They didn’t reveal anything else and they haven’t even said anything about the new GTA game since. As a result some fans have been trying to figure out what’s next.

There was some speculation that May and October would bring good news. But that wasn’t a chase. Now that November is here, fans believe we’ll see a trailer announcement soon due to the November 8 earnings call.

Redditor VI__SixTeen pointed out that Rockstar had previously announced the delay of Red Dead Redemption 2 and the first trailer for GTA 6 ahead of their earnings calls.

“Honestly, probably. It’s the last earning call of the year, so I guess they’re going to mention the trailer. I don’t listen to them so I don’t know what they’re talking about,” said one fan agreed.

“The Halloween event on GTAO ends on November 6th according to Rockstar’s latest blog post and Take-Two’s earnings are also on that day. I have a feeling they’ll move to full GTA 6 marketing next,” said another. “I actually expect there will be screenshots with the next announcement. A bit of banter between the trailers,” said another.

One spanner in the works, however, could be Rockstar boss Sam Houser. Insider TezFun reported this Houser wanted to delay the initial announcement to “mess with” leaks.

Furthermore, the first trailer leaked hours before it was set to go live. So it wouldn’t be a surprise if Rockstar changed things up.
