Disney World Guest Says They ‘Rough Chased’ a Recent Trip With ‘Zero Planning’

Can a trip to Walt Disney World be achieved without any planning?

One Reddit user tried to answer that question in a after titled “I went to Disney World without any planning,” published on the subreddit r/WaltDisneyWorld on Tuesday, October 29.

“No app. No lightning lanes. No virtual queue. I just pushed through raw and lived my life,” the user explained.

According to the post, they were allowed to enjoy it Magic kingdom park as fully as possible, make “14 trips and then one of those trips 4 times.”

“And I took a three-hour lunch break at the hotel. We went back for the Halloween party so I could ride Tiana’s bayou adventure without a virtual queue,” the post continued.

While the Disney guest was not able to enjoy Disney’s Hollywood studios so much so because there were ‘long lines’ they shared that Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park “There was hardly any wait time.”

The poster claimed that Flight of Passage, within Pandora – The World of AvatarThe two times they rode it had to wait less than 20 minutes. However, they arrived at the ride when the park first opened, expecting longer wait times.

They added that Expedition Everest had a 15-minute wait all day and that Animal Kingdom’s dinosaur attraction was only 5 minutes.

The Reddit user ended their summary of their experience by writing that “no plan” was needed to take advantage of all the entertainment the resort offers.

“The point of this post is that I think I had as much fun or more than if I were a super planner. Props to those who can handle the anxiety of schedules, but if you’re worried you won’t be able to Disney because of everything do the planning involved, that is still possible,” the message said.

In the comments section, readers expressed their mixed reactions, with one saying their “stress levels went up” after reading the post.

“I feel the opposite, my stress increases with lighting lanes and virtual queues! If I can’t ride something with a long wait, oh well. Maybe next time I’ll ride it. I’d rather enjoy my life,” responded the author of the message.

Another seemingly agreed with the writer, noting, “Once you start letting go of the planning, things get so much better for everyone.”
